Otters and Toffs

Well where to strart, this is more like a itenary entry than a blog,
Thursday the social workers came round, they basically complained that Pen askes the home help to do nothing, Fair enough we were offerd disabilty aids for aroud the home over a month ago, they not turned up so the home helps can't do any hair washing ect because of healt and safety. Its social services fault that this equipment hasn't turned up yet, so please dont complain to us about it.
Friday we went into town to pick up the 2nd to last of the xmas shopping, how many people did we bump into that we didn't want to see, well the housepest for one, still a pain in the arse lving in a fantasy land, Pen was much more polite to him than I would have been.  Then the Stepford, not once but twice, first in the carphone wharehouse, then in Evans-would it be bitcy of me to say she better get used to shopping in Evans. :) well she better. - Its called Karma.

Then up eary on sat to pick up a van, except the van wasnt where it was supposed to be, so a quick trip into Cowbridge to collect it, then stright up the motorways to rochdale at 4pm, a cup of tea and a chat with my Mum and then down and round to Stockport to see the Otters.
We ate so much indian takeaway and laughed so much we were in pain going to bed at 1am.
but yesterday was a cakewalk compared to today, Up early today to dismantle their bed and load it into the van-I borrowed a transit connect. We set off at 11 and headed back down south, Stopping at Strensham at 1 and then rolling home at 2.45, I threw the bed and stuff into the house to get to the Coyd at 3 to pick up the buffet food for SisInLaws suprise party, getting there and back after dropping the food off and taking the van back to the Bear and swapping into the BMW, what a chance heavy pedals, I stalled it twice getting it out of the car park. Got home got changed then out again back to SisInLaws by 4.50. Literally not stopping for breath. The party was a great sucses (As these do's allways are). We are home now. Up for 17 hours, and driven 430 miles.

More about the weekent to follow.. .
