Two trips to Est's to raid her orchard of Cooking and Eating apples, thing is once they are off the tree they only have a limited shelf life, so its been a frenzy of making apple products. So far we have 9 jars of apple chutney. A large Cheesecake topped apple crumble and two more apple crumbles ready for freezing.
Of course there's always a bit of drama, Alfie the chocolate Labrador managed to escape when we went yesterday cue a hour of driving around looking for him, and the car of course managed to drop its water all over the driveway of Si Rees's Castle.
The car is getting worse :( There is a cheese and food festival on at Cardiff Castle in a couple of weeks time, its only Cardiff but seroious doubts if the car will make it there and back.
