The teatowel question first.
"When you were a nipper. If you parents recived a teatowel as a gift, from friends and relatives who had traveled to such far off places as Cornwall and that there London. Did they display such a gift with its image of a London Bus or instructions on how to make a Cornish Pasty on the wall of the kitchen...Untill it was replaced by one with images of Scotland or the Isle of Man Waterwheel?"
Just me then? Was it a particualy Northern habbit or a Working Class habbit?
