I think you have to be a certain type of person and have a certain type of mentality to live in a seaside holiday town. We enjoy the beaches but we go to where its just beach, no arcade, no funfair no ice cream cafes.
Porthcawl had a good old fashioned Jumble Sale advertised, So we were up early and off we went, luckliy we found parking easily and got the chair onto the high street, were the jumble sale was a little dissapointing. It was in a room twice the size of our living room and even though we were there by 10.30 the pikings were sparse, We came away with a couple of necklaces for breaking down into SP bits and a old suede coat, again we want the suede to make SP and Magical stuff with.
While we were in Porthcawl we took a wander up and down the High street, theres a Fluffy shop there. I suppose it relys on the toursit trade to sell its display window full of dragons and fariy tat. We did take a look inside and at the back was a shelf of tarot cards, and a few love and light books, but that was it. It makes me more determine to get Bad Alchemy up and running, there's a definete market for a Darker or even more Balanced side of Magic shop somwhere in South Wales, Maybe not Cardiff though maybe Swansa is a better bet.
My 40th prezie of Pen came in the post today, Its a walking stick with a round knob for a handle the knob unscrews and theres a compass inside. Very SP.
