500 miles

First road trip for the Nissan Quashqui. We filled the car up with the air matresses, bedding, cakes, picnic basket and change of clothes, And set off at 11am Friday. Stopping at Frankley services to change drivers and to do a spot of extreme barisitaing, making a coffee in the car park. Refreshed with caffine we arrived at Rochdale 3ish.
Tea and Cake followed, and a few hours catching up and chatting to my Mum and Geoff. Then off into Mcr to see G, who made us a rather nice Pan Haggerty, Very hairy bikers type food, simple bu filling and tastly. I washed it down with a couple of beers, We sat up till 12.30ish chatting then had to blow the airbed up, making it a long day.
In the middle of the night the airbed deflated, so we didn't get that much sleep. I made up some of my inside out turkey burgers and set them to marinate in G's fridge. Then it was a trip down too the 'Shire to pick the kids up.
Back into Mcr, it has been my daughters Birthday and I was taking her out shopping. So once we had negotiated the City Grounds traffic jams, we drove into the city center, while Mr Fit cycled in, storing his funky folding bike in the back of our car.
We were parked round the back of Aflex Palace, so popped in to see L but she was busy/out and her shop was closed. So we went down into the Arndale.....Pen has never seen the Manchester trams before.
With Pens help and advice Chayce chose a pair of pink lepoard print leggings and a nice top with a lepoard on it. Then it was a search for shoes, No shoesies in New Look, but theres plenty of other places to find shoes in Manchester. While Pen and the boys went back to the car, We found a pair of Lepoard print (theres a theme developing here) pumps in a funky/modern/noisey shoe shop in the Arndale so we were only 5 minutes behind them. Then we stopped in a market type shop for Chayce to pick a new bag.
Getting back to G's mancave I popped Dinner on, Turkeyburgers on Chibata squares, salad and as a treat for us Oven Chippies!!!
While I prepped dinner, Chayce tried on her new outfit and Pen gave her a makeover-straightned her hair and applied a little bit of makeup, showing Chayce how to do it and how less is more.
Dinner was nommed by all, So good to see my kids chowing down on salad and enjoying it.
JJ had a party to go to, so we went back and got him to his party by 8:30, then decided on a whim to pop in and see Mr C, for a quick cuppa.
2 hours later we left, all talked out :)
I drove down to Strensham services,..Oh dear they have a Krispy Kreme stand there now. So we had to buy some, just for the sugar rush to keep me awake-it was 1am by now.
So we got home at 3am.
On the journey the fuel computer in the car has risen from 44.8mpg to 48.2mpg. So its starting to run in. theres still only 1100 miles on it.
